We were a group of kids and parents that drove up from Albuquerque to go sledding in the area. We lunched at Timeout Pizza beforehand and had a very pleasant experience. We would compare it to Dions here in ABQ. We found the pizza to be very fresh and tasty and the sandwiches were decent..nothing memorable but solid. I grew up in Los Alamos and would have enjoyed hanging out here in high school and would bring my family here if I lived here. Los Alamos peeps are hard to please tho' and I was surprised there were only adults dining there that day and not a single family on a school holiday. We chuckled at the reviews bashing the salad bar...it looked fresh and abundant to us. I'd say just replace that iceberg lettuce so many locals bash and give the LA people their field greens! LOL We will definitely come back to this relaxed and "breath of fresh air" type of restaurant you find in other towns and Los Alamos has never really supported when we are up in LA again! Hope it succeeds!!

Just opened. Has all-can-eat salad bar, iceberg lettuce, dead carrots. Slow service, still waiting for our pizza. It's been 20 minutes and they're not busy. Could be opening jitters. Music is loud.

I mean it's pretty hard to mess up pizza. Pizza is pizza. But the pizza here is mediocre for the price. Me and my teammates came here after practice and didn't seem too attentive to us. They have a nice salad bar with nice variety, but as soon as you take a scoop of ranch the salad bar police are watching like Hawks to charge you .50 cents for it. The pizza isn't that bad, it's the high prices and lack of good service which probably will not make me return for a while until I decide to give it another shot

This is so yummy!! We ordered the green chile cheese bread to start and it was SO YUMMY. And a good value! We also ordered an 18 inch touchdown pizza which was also very good. Those two things were more than enough food for 4 people. The salad bar looks delicious as well. My only request would be that they somehow make it so you can add a salad bar to your pizza order for less than what it costs now. It would have been nice to have the salad bar as a starter because it looked really good. I have eaten at a few places in Los alamos on this trip and this is by far the best.

We go here at least a few times a month. Pizza is pretty good and salad bar is ok. Mostly iceberg lettuce with a handful of spring mix. A single salad is $6 and signs all over the restaurant remind you to not share to keep costs down. At $6, costs aren't too far down. Customer service is poor. I don't think I have ever had a single person ask me anything there with the exception of the salad police who followed my 8 year old to our table to charge us .50 for the spoonful of ranch dressing he got. My kids like pizza and there aren't many options in town, but we will probably be ordering take out from now on and skipping the salad, games and rude customer service.

Beware! Took my family to time out pizza after visiting the Los alamos science museum because it was convenient. After ordering a salad, a pizza, some drinks for the kids and some waters, the manager (or possibly owner), Victor, handed me the smallest water cups I'd ever seen. They were the 4 ounce orange juice cups I recall getting as a kid. The manager said they were the largest cups they had. Quite odd! The manager then told me it might take up to 30 minutes for us to get our pizza since they were busy. It must have been delivery orders since the place was dead when we first arrived. He also told me the salad bar was for a single trip and he watched us like a hawk while my wife ate her salad. We're a fit & active family so I'm not sure why he felt the need to make sure we didn't make a second trip to the salad bar. I had a couple cucumbers and didn't think anything of it. I then had an employee tell me that if the manager saw other people eating salad, he'd charge me for it. I'm still scratching my head as what does it matter if you order a single salad, who eats off it. While waiting, other people were coming in and about half of them left. I heard another guy say "I've never heard of a 1 hour wait for a pizza", before leaving. At about the 45 minutes mark, I asked about our pizza and was told it was about done. It was about 10 minutes later before our pizza arrived and the pizza was smaller than what I had ordered. I asked the manager why we didn't get the large pizza and he said I didn't ask for the large pizza. He did say "I'm sorry" but then walked off. Normally, I'd say screw it and demand a refund but my kids were starving. While we were eating, the manager and employees kept looking at us and I have no clue why. The only thing I can think of is that I didn't tip them for taking my order. The pizza looked great but tasted mediocre at best. I'll be going somewhere else when I'm in the area.
